Four things worth knowing about any matcha: where it's grown, when it's picked, which plant it comes from, and what it's for.

Our Ceremonial Matcha is made from the youngest spring leaves, shade-grown and milled into an ultra-fine powder. Our Baking Matcha comes from the third harvest, with a more robust flavor that holds up in recipes. Both are JAS Organic.
